A Christmas Wish

On Friday, I signed up for 2010's One Project a Month Challenge (OPAM) over at Happy in Quilting. This is my first 'big' finish for the year ... A Christmas Wish designed by Gail Pan.

Here you can see the very simple straight line quilting I finished it with.

All the fabrics are by Judie Rothermel.

I know Christmas has come and gone but it's going
to hang on the wall at least for a few weeks.

Today was a hot lazy day. Apart from a walk on the beach I finished reading the fourth Harry Potter novel then watched the DVD. No stitching at all! Maybe tomorrow.

  2. Great finish! I so wish it were warm here. It has been pretty cold and I could use some of your weather right about now. I love your stitching and the quilting that you did. Did you have your normal quality control with Oliver and Molly? It appears they did not want to be in the photo shoot.

  8. I was so happy to see your post of your quilt because I was trying to decide how to finish mine and was thinking of using something with a white/cream background from fabrics I had. But, wasn't sure how it might look until I saw yours. Now I will go ahead and complete mine. Yours is absolutely beautiful! Nola

  18. I like the way you finished your Christmas wishes quilt. I like the material and the light and dark sashing. I really like your quilt hanger too. I need to find something like that for my kitchen. I have one wall I like to hang a wall hanging on and that hanger is really neat.

  33. I had every intentions of doing this BOM too, and I managed to get some of the patterns printed off. Unfortunately I didn't stitch a single stitch to it. :(
