This little flock of Rouenneries birds has recently taken up residence in my garden.
They are quite shy so I had to sneak up very quietly to get these pictures!
Luckily Oliver hasn't spotted them yet as he likes to think he's a big brave hunter sometimes!!
I am hoping they will stick around for a while as they look very pretty amongst the greenery.
Lovely birds.I'd like to sew one. Hugs from Brazil
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Are you really going to let them live out there on fine days? I think they are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHugs - Lurline♥
Those birds are so beautiful! They look like they'd be a lot of fun to sew and look so pretty in your tree.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! Two of my favourite things; birds and Rouenneries fabrics!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds. I love Rouenneries fabric.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little flock of birds. Maybe you should alert the Audobon Society of the spotting? :)
ReplyDeleteThey are terrific! I can see why Oliver would want to get after them. Hopefully they are around for a while.
ReplyDeleteLove them! So sweet! I like to sew one or a lot of them like you! Hug from Kristina in Arjeplog, Sweden
ReplyDeleteYour little birds are darling. They sure do multiply fast.
ReplyDeleteI like! Does Oliver try to "kill" his toys? Bella likes to drown her toy mice in her water bowl...
ReplyDeleteHow lovely and warm they look up in the tree (as I freeze in the States!) Wish I were up there with them.
ReplyDeleteOh they are lovely :O)) My big brave hunter would be very frightened by these.. he likes the idea of birdies but when there isn't a screen door separating him from them, he runs and hides!
ReplyDeletetake care and stay cool!
Lissa
Love them!
ReplyDeleteI just adore those "birdies"---you did a beautiful job stitching them and then to set them free--what a good person you are---hope one fly's to my place---
ReplyDeleteHugs, Di&co.
How sweet, and 'cheep' to keep.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely birds! How large is your "flock" going to be? Did you design them yourself?
ReplyDeleteHappy quilting,

these are absolutely adorable! wish they were in my trees, actually in a birdhouse that I have in my living room
ReplyDeleteLOVE the colors /fabrics you chose to make them
Kathie
OH my gosh I love them... I hope they fly south here soon. We have bird seed outside ; o )
ReplyDeleteI wonder how they would get along with the chickadees and cardinals at my bird feeder. If there was a competition as to which species would be the prettiest, I think your little guys would win hands down.
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric!
Beautiful! And the fabrics really are so pretty. Where did you get the pattern?
ReplyDeleteIs that your own pattern? They are cute as can be in the tree branches.
ReplyDeleteI love that fabric and it looks so wonderful on your flock of birds.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
