Sturbridge Village Quilt

Not much stitching has happened so far today. My sister and I took two trailer loads of gardening rubbish to the tip. It was quite hot and I ended up with a headache from the sun. Will work on my WISPS tonight and hopefully have something finished for tomorrow. I have never be so motivated to get in and complete things!

In the meantime, here is a little quilt I made last year from Judie Rothermel's Old Sturbridge Village fabrics. I had a bit of trouble with the blocks - some of the points have been cut off! It has also faded a bit from being left in the sun but I still like it. The pink fabric is just divine. The circles are button hole stitch appliqued - I traced around a coin for the shape. I would really like to learn how to do needle turn applique - maybe another goal for this year. I still have a big box of these fabrics so it would be nice to make a bed size quilt from them one day. Just need the right pattern - any suggestions?
