More WISPs

Today I dug out some more WISPs to work on. This is a Christmas stocking stitchery by Country Friends that came from Patchwork on Stonleigh. I decided to tea dye it for a more aged effect.

This poor Advent Snowman has been faceless for several years. He was designed by Sandra Paull of Sun Vally Primitives - the pattern appeared in an issue of Australian Country Threads. I am a sucker for craft and quilt magazines and can't walk past a newsagency without going in to check out what's available. I decided it was cheaper to subscribe to my favourites - Homespun, Quilters Companion and Country Threads.

  1. Can't wait to see the stocking done. That is going to be really cute! The snowman is great even without a face!

  3. Looking forward to seeing the stocking finished. I'd be too scared to put all that work into the tea in case it didn't work out. eeek. I bet it will look fabulous.
