Gardening Angel Cushion

I have managed to finish another WISP for May Britt's challenge. I finished it yesterday but Tali's cushion just had to star in that post. Thanks for the lovely comments - she will be impressed. I used some Kindred Spirits fabric featuring gardening angels for the backing -very appropriate I thought. Had forgotten I even had this fabric so it was great to put it to such good use.
Oliver likes it anyway!

The front is just borders added log cabin style with prairie points. I also handquilted with embroidery thread. I like handquilting on cushions because the back of the stitches can't be seen!

Oliver also had to inspect the front! Funny how he always appears when I am trying to take photographs.
Now that this cushion is finished I will have to get the quilt that the fabrics were left-over from quilted. They should look very nice together.
Pulled out some more small WIPS this morning so should have something else to show soon.
