Scrappy Blocks

Each weekend I have been sewing a few blocks for my Scrappy Trip Around the World quilt.

I am happy with how the look individually and hope they will look good sewn together too.

Each block started with a 2 1/2 strip of pink, red, green, aqua, grey and white/light.

I am making 36 blocks and using each fabric in only 2 blocks to try and get a really scrappy look.

Today it was grey and rainy here ... perfect sewing weather. I pieced a couple of quilt backs and did some hand stitching.
Hope you found time to stitch too. Bye.

  7. I'm sitting here wishing your were my quilt shopping buddy Christine so that instead of buying the fabrics that sit in my sewing room unused as they are just not quite right, I could have you to say - NO that one there, that's what we like. Everything you make blows my mind! I just did a search for the Lynette Anderson kitty sewing fabric but no luck so far, small growls rather than purrs. Tracee xx

  16. FANTASTIC Christine - I really love how your blocks are turning out. So far I've resisted making any Scrappy Round the World blocks but the temptation is growing.
