Today was the start of school holidays for me. I was once introduced as 'the holiday blogger' so here's hoping I manage to post more regularly during the next fortnight ... I may even permit myself to start some new projects!

I LOVE Dresden plates. we have one on our bed, the second quilt i ever made, finished in 1988. our daughter already told me she wants it when i die. ;) not in the plans at this moment, though. I have collected lots of wools in jewel tones to make a winter quilt, dresden pattern, of course, for our other daughter and her son, who live near by. it will keep them warm next winter. sure hope i can find your magazine in Alaska, would love to read it! bye now! - mary in alaska
