Bibelot

Nearly a year after it was pieced ... Bibelot is finally finished.

This was a scrappy quilt with lots of red, aqua and grey fabrics pulled from my stash.

The quilting is very simple .. 1/4 inch inside each 'T'.

I will learn to stipple and free-motion quilt one day .. just not yet!

The days are getting shorter and darker ... these photos are the best of a very ordinary bunch.

Hope everyone is having a great Easter. I don't go back to school until Wednesday so still a couple of days left to sew.
My mission over Easter has been to get my 2011 Fat Quarter Shop Mystery Designer quilt together. Wish me luck!

  11. The quilt is gorgeous. How did it get its name, I wonder? Seems like it could be called "Taylor" instead with all those Ts. 8) Have a lovely Easter.
