Scandinavian Rose Blocks

I am really enjoying these Scandinavian Rose blocks.

There was lots of satin stitch in this one which I had to do during daylight hours.

Back to school on Monday ... where did these two weeks off go? Today I plan to have a pottering day with lots of sewing and a few household jobs. Enjoy your day whatever you do.

  13. Hello Christine
I've luckily just found your blog!
Such beautiful stitching and I love the fabrics you use too.

I'm looking for some small red stitchings I can make for decorations to go on my daughters Christmas tree in France - can you point me in the right direction???

It's nice to know you're just across the ditch from me too!

I'm following you now - I can't let you out of my sight - I have found your blog just so INSPIRING!!! Thank you!

  19. Beautiful stitching: especially the satin stitch: mine needs some work! I've just discovered that I do like embroidery (I think the point came when I recently did a Leanne Beasley piece that used backstitch instead of stem stitch: I get much better results that way!!) So I've been perusing the Rosalie Quinlin and Leanne Beasly blogs: some beautiful things. Now just to have enough time to do some!!! You've obviously been busy: great work!!
