Tail Feathers Block 9

Block 9 is done.


  The stitcheries in this block are Feathered Friends ...


  and Baby Bird. How cute!


Here are the nine centre blocks all sewn together. (The fringing is on the throw rug I lay on the ground to protect the quilt top. Spring has sprung but the early mornings are still damp.)


I started my holidays today so with any luck I'll get the log cabin borders attached very soon. So glad I made all  the border blocks earlier in the year.

    It looks absolutely gorgeous!! The fringe actually looks nice around the edge, even though it is the rug.

    How is the green done around the one flower? It looks like rickrack but could be embroidery. It surely is pretty.
