Yesterday I decided it was time to turn the stitchery below into something useful!
Easier said than done when this fellow's about!
He just doesn't get that rolling around on a cutting mat is NOT a good idea!
And potentially perilous!
Oliver Henry
Brat and sooky la la!
Anyway, here's where I'm at with my (modified) Cottage Blessings bag.
Pattern by Natalie Lymer and Rouenneries fabric ... still loving it!
Have you heard the expression "cut cat"? Love the bag front, Christine. Is that the stitchery for Anne's challenge from Material Girls???
ReplyDeleteGotta love cats; they just dont understand sharp blades. Bella likes to drape across my cutting mat too, the more in-the-way she is, the happier she is....
ReplyDeleteI love what you have done so far and I too love the Ruenerries fabrics. :) Your pussy cat is one cat that loves the attention by the look of it. So cute :) hugs Vicki
ReplyDeleteLoving your Cottage Blessings creation Christine! Looking forward to seeing the finished project!

So beautiful, both your stitchery and Mr. Oliver! So glad to see him back in pictures. What a sweetie pie!! Please give him a little virtual pat on the head for me!
ReplyDeleteCats like to play dangerous.
ReplyDeletelooks gorgeous, love that fabric, good luck finishing it
ReplyDeleteOliver and Moggie would make a good tag team. She likes to throw whatever she decides is suitable that day onto the floor.
ReplyDeleteGets hazardous at times...and when she goes to sleep next too a hot iron!!!!
I suspect she thinks it has been put on for her benefit...like the gas heater that she sprawls in front of.
Christine...that looks so good...Oliver just wants to spend special time with his Mummy...
ReplyDeleteI love your combination of Natalie's stitchery design and Rouenneries...!! I will keep it in mind because I still couldn't decide how to use my precious Rouenneries fabric (silly, I know).
ReplyDeleteHow can you not love a face like that? He just melts my heart.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cat...and gorgeous stitchery too, Christine! *wink*
Oliver!! what a rascal you are.. leave your "mommy" alone when cutting so she can finish up whatever she is doing.. :o))) Love the fabrics ... still havent cut into my fq bundle.. but I guess I will have to soon..:O))
ReplyDeleteMy cats love to lay on my cutting mat too...especially when I'm actually cutting! Your stitchery is gorgeous as usual!
ReplyDeleteOliver is trying to help you, a face like that makes me melt.
