As all the handstitching for Tail Feathers is done, this week I dug out my Simple Pleasures stitcheries. These four take my tally to 10 blocks ... just 2 more to do.
Flowering Tree
Single Flower Basket
Flutterby Butterfly
Kitty Kat
Even though it's supposed to be spring we are still getting a lot of cold wintery weather. Oliver tends to hog the spot in front of the heater ...
with Molly doing her best to get her share of the warmth.
Today I was going to do my tax but after watching this great video on Sarah's blog I spent the day working on pinwheel blocks. Pictures coming soon.
all are very cute!

Just beautiful work as usual, Christine!
ReplyDeleteYour Simple Pleasures embroideries are just lovely, Christine! I love the subtle dotted fabric. Now you have two thinkgs that I can't wait to see completed.
ReplyDeleteIt's really sweet how Oliver and Molly cuddle up, even if it's because one of them is hogging the heater. lol Very lion and the lamb-ish (although, having had both, I tend to think of the small cat as the lion and the large dog as the lamb - at least that's been my experience.)
Happy stitching,
Susan in Texas
