Simple Pleasures

As all the handstitching for Tail Feathers is done, this week I dug out my Simple Pleasures stitcheries. These four take my tally to 10 blocks ... just 2 more to do.

 Flowering Tree

 Single Flower Basket

Flutterby Butterfly

Kitty Kat

Peg and Fiona are both  working on Simple Pleasures too.

Even though it's supposed to be spring we are still getting a lot of cold wintery weather. Oliver tends to hog the spot in front of the heater ...

with Molly doing her best to get her share of the warmth.

Today I was going to do my tax but after watching this great video on Sarah's blog I spent the day working on pinwheel blocks. Pictures coming soon.

  4. Your Simple Pleasures embroideries are just lovely, Christine! I love the subtle dotted fabric. Now you have two thinkgs that I can't wait to see completed.

It's really sweet how Oliver and Molly cuddle up, even if it's because one of them is hogging the heater. lol Very lion and the lamb-ish (although, having had both, I tend to think of the small cat as the lion and the large dog as the lamb - at least that's been my experience.)

    Happy stitching,
