Don't faint with shock. I actually finished something this month! After no finishes in June or July it was time to get serious! On Friday I re-discovered this stitchery.
A couple of hours later it looked like this.
The pattern is by Bronwyn Hayes and is called Christmas Cups. There are three different
cups in the pattern .... I still have one more to complete. Maybe it will be a September finish?
I used one of my favourite Judie Rothermel reds for the handles and lining.

Oliver was pleased I was home and joined me in the sewing room ...
overseeing activities from his basket near the window.
Not sure what was happening with his tail ... it was doing a lot of flipping about!
One more week of school then we have two weeks holiday here in Tasmania. I plan to catch up on my blog reading and do lots of stitching. This morning I received my partner's name for Chookyblue's SSCS 2009 so I will be lurking around her blog to discover what she likes.
I just love your Christmas cup. The colours are just beautiful. It will look lovely hanging up for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely and I don;t think it matters not getting something finished every month.
