Here is another block of Truly Scrumptious. I have actually finished the final block but the light is not good enough to take a photo today. Looking forward to piecing the quilt together soon.
Earlier in the week I basted a tablerunner with some 'assistance' from Oliver. He always seems to appear when there is a sewing project spread out on the kitchen table
... and always has to sit on it!
As I have said before, 'it's just as well, he's so cute!'
Your Truly Scrumptious block is ... well, truly scrumptious!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're getting the kitty's paws up seal of approval!
Loving Truly Scrumptious! Gorgeous! And of course, my dear friend Oliver, I am so glad that you stopped by in the pictures. It is always good to see his sweet little face or tail! Glad you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThese are such fun blocks!
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, That cat is just too cute and helpful! Carmel

ReplyDeletelovely stitching shame about the power.........
ReplyDeleteOliver is one cute cat.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that a Quilt without cat-hairs on it isn't a real quilt - well, my cats like to do the same as your cute Oliver.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling better Christine, love the TS block and the table runner pattern looks familiar..lovely fabrics, nice to see Oliver is being so helpful, what would you do without his help....
ReplyDeleteThat kitty face is kissable.......I luv your block...so sweet..........Amy
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty fabric. Oliver seems to approve of it. What is it with cats - our cat always comes running when I'm folding laundry to lay on it. So I try to sneak and do it - which is just silly
ReplyDeleteWhat is it that turns every quilt into a cat magnet? I know we always complain about our cats' antics, but let's face it, we couldn't do such beautiful work without them!
ReplyDeleteOliver is wonderfully adorable - I love orange cats!
ReplyDeleteI have that Truly Scrumptious project in a pile of 'to do' projects - you may have provided the inspiration I need to get started. Looks great!
Hi, Christine.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful works!
The stitcheries, the fabrics, the colors ... the lovely cat.
I looooove everything.

Is the weather bad all over Tassie? I heard some "rumours" about a hail storm in Launceston... Brrr.... Hope this bad weather doesn't bring your cold back!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing all your Truly Scrumptous blocks! It will be a wonderful quilt!
Looks like you had some great "help" basting that table runner - at least he approaches the task eagerly *lol*
Hope you'll have a lovely quilty weekend!
Hugs and stitches
I can't wait to see your Truly Scrumptious put together, mine, well I haven't been able to get near it to do any more, You might just be inspiring me to get it out agin.
ReplyDeleteI spy another Crossroads table runner from that well loved book Charmed and Dangerous ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to attempt one tomorrow and had come here to check whether you do the folded corner version or the plain.
Oliver is so cute and I know he must be a huge help to you as all of your projects turn out so beautiful.
