Cat Tales

Goodness me ... the week is really zipping by. Started to feel better yesterday but the weather has been terrible. Lots of thunderstorms, wind and rain. We were without power from 7 in the morning til 2.30 in the afternoon yesterday so spent most of the day hand stitching.

Here is another block of Truly Scrumptious. I have actually finished the final block but the light is not good enough to take a photo today. Looking forward to piecing the quilt together soon.

Earlier in the week I basted a tablerunner with some 'assistance' from Oliver. He always seems to appear when there is a sewing project spread out on the kitchen table

... and always has to sit on it!

Here he is hard at work!

As I have said before, 'it's just as well, he's so cute!'

  15. It seems to me that a Quilt without cat-hairs on it isn't a real quilt - well, my cats like to do the same as your cute Oliver.

  18. Such pretty fabric. Oliver seems to approve of it. What is it with cats - our cat always comes running when I'm folding laundry to lay on it. So I try to sneak and do it - which is just silly

  19. What is it that turns every quilt into a cat magnet? I know we always complain about our cats' antics, but let's face it, we couldn't do such beautiful work without them!

I'm planning to attempt one tomorrow and had come here to check whether you do the folded corner version or the plain.
