Works in Progress

Yesterday I added some borders to the Home Sweet Home stitchery so now I just need to quilt it and sew on the house button.

Some of the little squares look a bit wonky but I guess that gives it character!

I've also finished stitching the second block of Truly Scrumptious.

Cheating a bit ... leaving out some of the satin stitch!

Hope everyone gets time for some stitching this weekend.

  3. Your home sweet home stitchery is so cute with those wonky squares. I have this one some place in my boxes, maybe I find it and start on it. Browsing through blogs makes me remember a lot of things that are "hidden" in my sewingroom LOL

Your Home Sweet Home piece is just charming! I really like the red patch border. I just finished embroidering a piece and am still thinking about how to finish it -- your project gives me inspiration.
