Delightful Dresdens

I'm really looking forward to having some time to work on these dresdens again soon.

I started these last summer as part of the Scrappy Plate Club over at Bunny Tales.

Thankfully, I still love the fabrics and can't wait to start playing with them again.

I might have mentioned that this summer at Auntie's Quaint Quilts is going to be all about finishing some UFOs .. and no doubt starting some new ones too!

This afternoon I have a tablerunner that needs binding .. sounds like a good excuse to watch some TV. Luckily Project Runway Australia is on ... one of my favourite shows. Have a great weekend.

  10. Your Dresden plates are the stuff my dreams are made of! I'm also in the Bunny Hill Scrappy Plate Club, which is probably how I found your delightful blog. My quilting is nearly done...just the borders and binding left, which I hope to do by next week, in time for Christmas. Can't wait to see yours, all finished up!

  14. Such gorgeous fabrics. Very similar to my tastes. I here too cannot wait for summer holidays. I've been teaching 4 days a week this term and also have three kids aged 3-9, so no sewing done since last holidays. One week left here in SA!

  15. Very pretty ! I have a Dresden question. I am making some now that I am useing the whole length of the Dresden Tool -they have a smaller hole left in the middle....but they seem to ripple...my shorter ones didn't do that...but these are not laying FLAT. Any suggestions ?.....I love the Dresden Plates and hope to make many more.
