I am lucky to belong to a lovely online group of ladies called Friends in Stitching. This year in addition to making a stitched gift to be opened on Christmas Day we sent each other 5 extra gifts to be opened in the lead up to Christmas. I am thrilled to be receiving from Dawnie this year. Below, in no particular order are the lovely items I have received so far.
SOMETHING FOR FUN - a gorgeous Christmas shopping bag and shopping list. I have already used the bag and have had people asking me where I got it from.
I always make a list before going grocery shopping. My current note pad is nearly empty so this one will start being used very soon. And it's red!
SOMETHING FOR THE TREE- I love the stocking Dawnie made me. I think it is a Lynette Anderson design. As you can see there is so much detail, front ...
and back. Adorable.
SOMETHING FOR THE HANDS - these DMC threads will come in very handy ... Dawnie knows I LOVE red. Great scissors too ... I use this sort a lot.
SOMETHING FOR THE TUMMY - yummy Lindt chocolates. I LOVE chocolate!
SOMETHING FOR THE TABLE - a lovely silver candle. My family are coming for Christmas lunch tomorrow and this will look lovely on the table.
Thank you so much, Dawnie. I love all my gifts and can't wait to open my Christmas Day present tomorrow morning. Below is the delightful box my presents arrived in ... so cute.
Merry Christmas to all my friends in blogland. I hope 2012 was good to you and that 2013 will be even better. Now that the holidays have started I plan to be here more regularly ... fingers crossed! And in just a few days Auntie's Quaint Quilts turns 5 ... stay tuned for the traditonal birthday giveaways.
