I have been asked to share the method I use to make these. Paper piecing expert, Sue Daly has a tutorial here which explains it far better than I could. There are also great instructions with pictures in Vignette Issue 2  by Leanne Beasley. The sewline glue pen makes it so quick and easy and is definitely worth a try if you haven't yet attempted paper piecing.

  1. Love your hexies. Thanks to you and redbrolly I made the bunny stitchery. I framed the circle in white ric-rac, stitched on to a little blue bag with a pink lining. I also made the patched draw string bag from A Quiting Life and gifted it to a friend for her birthday. Your blog is so inspiring!

  2. They are gorgeous hexies. Those glue pens do speed up the process. Tracee xx

  3. Christine, your hexies look fabulous, so colourful and cheery.... the glue pen makes life that little bit easier...

  4. Beautiful hexies, Christine.

  5. Your hexie flowers look fantastic! I just love the fabrics you are using.

  6. Christine you are really killing me with the hexagons. I want them. I think they should be mine! They are perfect and made with fabrics in my taste. I love them.

  7. A lot of lovely flowers !

  8. They look lovely Christine. You are very neat.
