Craft Fair Goodies

On Friday I went to the Craft and Quilt Fair in Launceston with Vicki and Christine M. We met up with Sarah, Roseanne and Gail and had a lovely day shopping, eating, talking and admiring the quilts in the exhibition.

Not surprisingly, I showed little restraint in the fabric purchasing department! I found these lovely Japanese prints on the Be Be Bold stand.

These grey fat quarters were from Frangipani Fabrics. LateIy I have collected quite a nice little stash of grey fabrics.

Fee had some fabulous specials including these one metre rolls of wonderful stripey fabric.

And oh dear,Tilda was at this fair too. Bad news for the credit card but great for my stash were these Tilda beauties from Fresh Fabric.

I spent quite a lot of time at the Handiquilter stand and had a play on the Sweet 16. The lovely Sarah took this picture and was very keen for me to post it on my blog. Hope you are happy Sarah. LOL!

To Elizabeth who asked about Christmas Fun. It is a design by Lynette Anderson. It was her button club BOM last year. Elizabeth, I tried to reply to you privately but you are set as a 'no-reply' blogger.

  9. Sounds like a lovely day out Christine! I'm looking forward to seeing what you make with the fabric! :)

I haven't been able to get out much lately because of my sore hip, so I bought some supplies online here http://www.alacraft.com.au/quilting-and-fabrics-cat4 on recommendation from a friend, but I must say that I'm a little jealous of the Japanese prints you found! Absolutely lovely! :)

  13. Some gorgeous fabrics Christine- I am sure you will create one fantastic quilt with them.
I had a go on the Handiquilter Sweet Sixteen last year at Christmas time. What a wonderful little quilting machine to quilt on- it goes like a dream and is pretty compact which makes it much more useful than one on the rollers for our living arrangements. What a tempting toy to own- It would be high on my wish list and a girl always needs to have a wish or two...
