Christmas Fun

This weekend I started my Christmas Fun quilt. It is a Lynette Anderson design I purchased last year as a block of the month from Sarah. Each month I received a pattern including a hand painted button. There are eight Ohio Star blocks in the quilt each measuring 3 inches. I decided to make all eight while I was feeling motivated. They were a bit fiddly but turned out ok. The fabrics are Glace by 3 Sisters ... I still have plenty of scraps in this range.

I have prepared 3 of the blocks ready to stitch in the evenings ... Cookies,

 The Pudding and ...

 Christmas Cottage.

The weather was gorgeous here this weekend. I have enjoyed pottering about in an out of the sewing room. Hope your weekend was a good one too.

  10. The fabric choice is well suited to the designs. Making those stars all at one time a good idea. Especially such small ones. I am not good at BOM's. I want all the patterns and then work on it just like you are doing.
