Christmas Fun

This weekend I started my Christmas Fun quilt. It is a Lynette Anderson design I purchased last year as a block of the month from Sarah. Each month I received a pattern including a hand painted button. There are eight Ohio Star blocks in the quilt each measuring 3 inches. I decided to make all eight while I was feeling motivated. They were a bit fiddly but turned out ok. The fabrics are Glace by 3 Sisters ... I still have plenty of scraps in this range.


 I have prepared 3 of the blocks ready to stitch in the evenings ... Cookies,
 

 The Pudding and ...


 Christmas Cottage.
 

 The weather was gorgeous here this weekend. I have enjoyed pottering about in an out of the sewing room. Hope your weekend was a good one too.

    The fabric choice is well suited to the designs. Making those stars all at one time a good idea. Especially such small ones. I am not good at BOM's. I want all the patterns and then work on it just like you are doing.

    Eine schöne Stoffauswahl haben Sie gewählt. Die kleinen Blöckchen machen sehr viel Spaß, meiner ist schon fertig und darf Weihnachten 2012 hängen.

    What cute applique patterns. The bear atop the pudding is precious.
