Rouenneries Birdies

This little flock of Rouenneries birds has recently taken up residence in my garden.

They are quite shy so I had to sneak up very quietly to get these pictures!

Luckily Oliver hasn't spotted them yet as he likes to think he's a big brave hunter sometimes!!

I am hoping they will stick around for a while as they look very pretty amongst the greenery.

  2. How beautiful! Are you really going to let them live out there on fine days? I think they are just gorgeous!

  6. What a sweet little flock of birds. Maybe you should alert the Audobon Society of the spotting? :)

  10. I like! Does Oliver try to "kill" his toys? Bella likes to drown her toy mice in her water bowl...

  12. Oh they are lovely :O)) My big brave hunter would be very frightened by these.. he likes the idea of birdies but when there isn't a screen door separating him from them, he runs and hides!
    take care and stay cool!

  19. I wonder how they would get along with the chickadees and cardinals at my bird feeder. If there was a competition as to which species would be the prettiest, I think your little guys would win hands down.

    Love that fabric!
