A Finished Quilt Top

Despite this fella

using it as his personal washing space ...

I have managed to finish the top of Little Patchwork Village.

I LOVE the red strippy border fabric which frames the quilt ... it's from the Clothesline Club: Family Gatherings by Darlene Zimmerman.

Here's a few of the blocks I haven't shown before.

Now I just have to find some backing fabric and get it quilted.

Got a call yesterday to say Pam has finished quilting An Angel Story so hopefully I'll bring it home today. How exciting!!!

  3. What is it about trying to take a photo of a quilt, and cats taking over. My Trash folder is full of photos with cat bits in them.

  21. Christine, I just had to laugh at that first and second picture. Just way too cute and way too familiar. What is it about kitties and showering themselves on our work? Your quilt turned out just beautifully, I love it. Looking forward to seeing your Angel Story quilt.

  23. Oh Christine, it is just darling! I love the way the two birds have their own house in the village. What a nice touch. 8) I love the plaid border too; it really sets off the rest of the quilt. You really make me want to try a redwork project. (Like I don't have enough projects going already. lol)

    Happy quilting,
    Susan
