The Christmas decorations are gradually coming out so this sampler came down on Saturday. It is from the days when I did lots of cross-stitch and is still one of my favourites.
Of course, as soon as the camera came out, so did Oliver!
This Christmas cross-stitch is going up in the spot where the sampler was. It is a Debbie Mumm design.
They're not very good photos ... I kept getting reflections in the glass ...
these are the best of a bad lot!
On Saturday I am heading down to Ross for the Tassie bloggers Christmas get-together. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again. I guess one of the advantages of living on a smallish island is we can meet up like this fairly easily.
Love it Christine!! It is looking so good!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so fun when it comes to change things for the different seasons... and cross stitch...so much fun!! :o)
Wow, my respect for this wonderful cross stitch work! It is marvellous, as well as the log cabin quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas cross stitch! It's funny how Oliver's tail looks very similar to Rolo's. Or is it that I just get similar shots when taking a picture. Hmmmmm. What characters they can be at times! Funny!
ReplyDeleteIt looks super, Christine -- love that setting for your quilt. The little Christmas cross stitch is perfect!
ReplyDeleteOf course Oliver came out for the camera -- our two try to put their noses on the lenses!!
Your quilt looks great! And, I love your cross stitch pic with Oliver's tail. When my kids were single digit (2-9) they constantly ran with a hand up in front of a camera. Used to make me nuts!!!! LOL Oliver reminded me of that! Your Debbie Mumm cross stitch is beautiful!!! Such rich colors.
