End of the Trip

This week I have been doing some major de-cluttering ahead of a family garage sale next weekend. While sorting through mountains of 'stuff' I realised I have a couple of finished quilts that I haven't blogged about yet. So today I'm sharing my Scrappy Trip-Around-the-World quilt started in January this year after the pattern become so popular in 'blogland.'


I used lots of my favourite Bonnie and Camille fabrics ...


including Ruby, Maramalade and Vintage Modern.


It was quilted by Leanne who works at Esme's in Launceston.


The backing and binding both use delicious Ruby fabrics.


Now back to the sorting!

    Oh I'm so glad you posted this! This is the quilt that drew me to your blog a couple weeks ago when I was searching for scrappy trips around the world quilts in colors that actually appeal to me ;) This is such a HAPPY quilt- I just love the fabrics you used. Absolutely gorgeous!!

    I've admired that quilt so much this year. Yours is gorgeous in Bonnie and Camille fabrics! I have so many of these fabrics I've considered making the quilt myself using them. Yours may tip me over the edge to beginning!
