I've been too tired after work this week to do any stitching at all so today I thought I'd share my purchases from the Burnie Friendship Day. These adorable red scissors in a cute little red pouch came from Sarah at Patchworks Plus. I'd seen them on Sarah's website and they were even cuter in real life.
Other purchases from Sarah were a Vintage Modern jelly roll ... a bargain at just $30 and ...
a few more pieces for my Tilda collection.
I also chose a few fat quarters, from Julie on the Wells stand, to add to my grey stash.
Hoping to get into the sewing room tomorrow and work on a few UFOS. Bye.
Some wonderful buys Christine. I'd noticed those lovely little red scissors before too, very cute :) I love the way you call your Tilda fabrics a "collection" ...like you don't actually intend to use them!
ReplyDeleteSome days it's just easier to hold the fabric than sew with it. I like your purchases, there are some lovely greys around.
ReplyDeleteLovely selection of fabrics Christine, thanks for the heads up on the vintage modern jelly roll as I've just now ordered one from Sarah's shop :) Barb.
ReplyDeleteGreat purchases and I have to agree with Susan, sometimes it's just nice to hold the fabric, maybe even dream a little :o)
ReplyDeleteThere's no point forcing yourself to sew- it's just not worth it! Your fabric purchases are lovely!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to treat myself to a pair of scissors like those - love a pair of red handled scissors. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe other purchases are yummy.
The heat here just knocks the desire to sew right out from under me! I'm drooling over your red scissors and Tilda fabric!
