What's in a Name? (150th post Giveaway)

Thought I'd introduce you to this young lady who recently arrived at our place from the UK. I was one of the lucky winners in Trashalou's recent Bushfire Appeal raffle. The gorgeous girlie was made and donated by Kitty. Aren't her eyelashes adorable?

Her arrival generated much interest amongst the resident Quilt Inspectors. Oliver went straight in for a big sniff!

Then popped out of the way ...

so Molly could get a good look too.

Steady on, Mol! Don't knock her over!

That's better. My niece Tali thought Molly looked like a sentry on duty. Very upright and proper!

As this is my 150th post, I am having a little giveaway. I'd like some help with choosing a name for the pretty sock monkey girlie. To be in the running for the goodies below, please leave a comment including your suggestion by midnight Saturday 21st March. I will do a random draw next Sunday.

  10. She is adorable! Love the pink. My first thought was Milly; and then Petunia and Daisy came to mind - thinking of the flower. And then on reading through again - I thought of Kitty, after the maker.
Good luck with choosing; and congratulations on the win, and the 150 post too!

  19. Christine, I just love the pictures you have of Oliver and Molly checking out your newest acquisition. They really brought a smile to my face. Now for a name. The monkey is really pretty and bright... love it! But the name has to fit just right. Because of her color, I think she should be appropriately named, Fuschia.

  50. Ok...we gathered all the sock monkeys that live here at Sock Monkey Ranch round the computer and showed them the pic of your new little gal. Then we took a vote and settled on the name "Izzy". We think it suits her perfectly.

We also invite you and "Izzy" to drop by Sock Monkey Ranch online and meet all the monkeys. www.sockmonkeyranch.com

Oh, by the way...I have a dog named Oliver!

Thanks a bunch for sharing your little cutie,
