A Little Bit of Luck

Look at this beautiful pincushion that I won in a giveaway from Cassie.



Oliver was very impressed with it and the fact that it was nice enough to be outside taking photos.



I love the colours and Cassie's stitching is superb. The buttons are very cute, too. Thanks Cassie.



I've been rather fortunate in the giveaways lately. This gorgeous pattern recently arrived from Karen at Mrs Martin's Quilt Shop. It is called Chocolate and Raspberries and is a new design from Jennifer Knol Designs. I was very pleased to win this - it is very me. Thanks Karen.

    The pin cushion is fabulous -- no wonder Oliver wanted to inspect closely!

    Of course Oliver loved the pincushion. My little Frida is always playing with my small pincushions, and I wonder what she will do with the one I received in the swap....a little birdpincushion.

    That's a cute pincushion. The little stitchery is a nice touch.
    Oliver is hilarious. Perhaps he could come over to do the quality control checks on my sewing :)

    My cat thinks some of my pincushions are cat toys, it's so funny when she gets her on on one of them and I try and hide it. Very nice pincushion and pattern. Enjoy.

    I firstly thought, geez what a huge pincushion until Oliver's head came into the frame. It is just so dainty!
